Rich & Fameus is making a breakthrough into the music industry with the Ready for Takeoff Mixtape. These Miami based New York project bred twins, know the struggle of the inner city projects but have also been well versed on the rich culture that new york city had to offer. The combination of these two exposures have created quite an eclectic hip hop sound coming from this album. The album starts with “Fired Up” which gives the mixtape an upbeat jump-off to get the listener ready for the rest of the album. The “Ready for take Off” track is dope combination of hip hop and rock sounds with well rapped versus, and a catchy chorus that gives this track the flagship song of the mixtape. They switch up the hip hop mixtape feel with songs like Night to End, in which they sample a well known dub-step beat and offer rich versus of straight fire raps. Rich and Fameus bring a new sense of skateboard fresh diversity in the hip hop world and we’re excited to see what they have to offer next.
